The marketing Vice President of Star India, Nikhil Madhok has asserted that, the show has generated very high ratings on TV, so they took up an idea of coming up with its sixth season so soon. The Nach Baliye 5 season had just ended last week. The show has been won by Jay and Mahi. The news regarding to its contestants and judges is still under wraps and no official announcement has been made yet.
The fifth season recieved more than 1.5 crores votes from the audience. The show has created a lot of buzz. The season Six of Nach Baliye Shriman vs Shrimati will air on 6 April 2013, Saturday-Sunday at 9 pm. The show become so successful, that it will be launching with a TVR of 4.1.
