Shreya Ghoshal is the renowned playback singer. The queen of singing started her playback singing career with the movie Devdas.
She was born on 12 March 1984 in a Bengali Hindu Family. She grew up in a small town near Kota in Rajastan. She got her training from Maheshchandra Sharma in classical Music. She had done her schooling from Atomic Energy Central School. She has graduated in Arts from SIES College.
She is a girl next door. She loves simplicity. She once told that she doesn`t like to pretend what she is not. She believes she is a normal girl who is like any other girl. She too fights with her mother like any other girl does. She once also revealed that for her marriage, she will find the groom herself.
She had won the Zee Tv show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa children`s episode. After winning that show, she moved to Mumbai and got her training from Kalyanji for 18 months. She also got training in classical music from Mukta Bhide. She won a National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the film Devdas. She also has recieved many State Film Awards. She had also sung in a English movie When Harry Tries To Marry. She had judged many television shows like X Factor, Star Voice of India-Choote Ustaad.
