The official remake to 1981 comedy movie Chashme Baddor is releasing. The movie is directed by David Dhawan.
The movie stars Ali Zafar, Tapsee Pannu, Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Siddarth Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Anupam Kher and Divyendu Sharma. The movie is a remake though but it will be adapted to modern times. It will be very different from the original one. The script has been rewritten by Ali Zafar and original director Sai Paranjpye. The original were having three characters played by Farooque Shaikh, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani but this remake will also see two new male chracters.
The shooting of the movie has been done in Goa. The music album is having seven songs. The songs have flavours of romantic charm, giggles, rap and contemporary beats. It will remind you the feel of 80`s. The song Har Ek Friend Kamina Hota Hai has been sung by Sonu Nigam and is very much loved by audience.
The movie is set to release on 5 April 2013.There were news that the makers of this movie is thinking of a cameo by Amitabh Bachchan who had made a guest appearance in original one. Reportedly, Varun Dhawan will also be doing a cameo in the movie.
