Disha Parmar is an Indian Television actress who has first appeared in the Television Serial Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha on Star Plus. She is playing the role of Pankhuri who is the lead character in the show. She was spotted in 2012 in Television Industry and since then she is ever growing and has made a permanent place in her fans heart. This leading lady was born in Assam on November 11, 1994. Apart from the television serial, she has also appeared in commercial print ads in Nepal and Delhi.
Disha Parmar has completed her schooling in Delhi from Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls. After her schooling, she thought of pursuing her further studies but had to leave it in midway and started working with a Delhi based company, Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd. Working with this company, she got a chance for an audition of Rajshri`s Upcoming Project Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha. She got selected for the role of lead character Pankhuri in the show. This show has brought many fortunes to her career and put her leap forward.
Disha Parmar is currently living in Mumbai with her family. She is living with her parents and her elder brother Gaurav Parmar. Whenever she got time, she likes to go back to Delhi, the place where she was brought up. She has been linked to her co star Nakuul Mehta but denying all rumours, she stated that she wants to concentrate on her career first. She has no time for getting into relationship as per of now. This leading lady is 19 years of now and weighs 56 Kgs. Apart from acting, she also had a keen interest in modelling.
She has also been accredited with many Television Awards in 2013. She has got Indian Telly Awards for the Fresh New Face. After that, she has got Star Parivaar Awards for the favourite Naya Sadaysa. Finally, she has also got Big Star Entertainment Award for the entertainer of the year.
