Ankit Tiwari who has become the talk of tinsel town from his playback singing for a song Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu from the movie Aashiqui 2 was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He has come from a family having music background. His father runs his own music group and his mother also sings devotional songs. He has also been trained under Vinod Kumar Dwivedi who is an Indian Classical Vocalist. Apart from singing, this talented boy has also been made into news when he is surrounded by the rape allegations.
Ankit has been charged for rape allegations accompanying his brother Ankur Tiwari. He has been charged for raping a 28 year old girl. On the other hand his brother is charged for threatening the girl. According to news, the victim has met Ankit through a common friend. He has been arrested by Versova Senior P.I. Bordke. If the rumours are to be believed, then the victim is in an alleged relationship with Ankit Tiwari. He has been now charged under Indian Penal Code Sections 376, 493, 417 and 506.
Ankit Tiwari has contributed a lot to the music. He has composed songs for many movies like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Do Dooni Chaar. He also had worked with many Television Broadcasters like Star Plus, Sony TV and Colors. For these, he had produced many song scores in their shows. He has many upcoming projects in near future.
