The first two instalments Dabangg and Dabangg 2 has done incredibly well on the box office. The first instalment got a overwhelming response from the audience. The second though has not able to create such heights as first has created but it was loved by audience equally. The movie is still under wraps and nothing much has been officially confirmed. The first was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and for the second version, Arbaaz Khan was roped in as the director.

Dabangg 3 will see Salman Khan taking on the role of a commissioner of Mumbai city. Sonakshi Sinha is always the choice of Dabangg makers and in this she will also be playing opposite to Salman Khan.

A rumour also suggested that in the third instalment, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha will not meet and they will not be together. Shatrugun Sinha will also be seen in an important role for the movie. The movie will go on floors next year.
