The German car maker BMW has launched its all new facelifted X1 in India. The car is an entry level to its sports utility vehicle segment. The car is launched in Gurgaon at an exclusive driving event. The car is produced in BMW`s Chennai plant and is available at all BMW dealerships.
The BMW X1 is powered by twin power turbo diesel engine. The engine is equipped with common Rail direct injection. It can produce a torque upto 380 Nm and achieve a top speed of 205 Km/hr. The car can accelerate from 0-100 Km/hr in just 7.9 seconds. The car features a new eight speed automatic transmission. The steering is also collaborated with servotronic technology which gives out maximum control. The new transmission increases car`s fuel economy very efficiently.
The car flaunts very sporty looks with a premium feel to it. The car now boasts longer wheel base, lateral lines. The design of car looks fresh and dynamic The LED headlights, side indicators are perfectly integrated into the body of car. The headlights are redesigned and is having LED powered corona rings. The front grille is also slightly wider. The interiors are very classy featuring premium upholstery The controls are placed in way that can be in a reach of driver easily. the seats are electrically adjustable. The seats can be folded in a 40:20:40 ratio which further increases the luggage capacity.

The car is priced at Rs 27.9 lakhs to Rs 32.5 lakhs and is available only in diesel. The other features to look at this car are a new BMW professional GPS which will be having a 8.8 inch display with a hard disk storage and BMW iDrive information system.
