The young and dynamic singer Neha Kakkar much known as Indian Shakira has wooed the town with her mesmerizing voice and talent. She has performed in more than 1000 live concerts. This star performer has not only shown her talent in singing but also in dancing. She has first entered into professional singing as a contestant in Indian Idol 6. Though she had not won the show and got eliminated at number 10 but she received a lot of appreciation and recognition from the show. After Indian Idol, she was also seen in Comedy Circus. She found reality shows very exciting but she always wanted to be a playback singer.
This powerhouse has lent her voice to many songs for the Bollywood movies. She has given her voice for the song Bareilly Ke Bazzar from the movie Jail. She has also sung for Bollywood movies like Blue, Meerabai Not Out, Cocktail, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Queen and Yaarian. She also had done albums Neha The Rock Star which was her first album of 8 songs. She had done a song Bottle Khol with Tony Kakkar for the movie Prague from which she got a lot of fame. After this, she also had made a Punjabi album Hanju with singer Meiyang Chang.
She is fond of singing romantic songs and she once quoted she connects with her album Hanju very well as it full of emotions. The song has some intimate scenes of Meiyang Chang and Neha Kakkar. In an Interview, She has also stated that she got uncomfortable during shooting of intimate scene and moreover his brother Tony Kakkar is shooting. But after a while she got comfortable and song shot very well. She also had recorded a song about actor Shahrukh Khan in 2012 which later got hit as SRK Anthem.
Neha Kakkar was born on 6 June 1988 in Rishekesh, Uttrakhand. She was born to the family of Rishikesh Kakkar and Nitti Kakkar. She also has a sister Sonu Kakkar who is also a great singer. Neha believes her sister to be her biggest inspiration as far her singing is concerned. Though this singer boasts irresistible looks and is very charming, she is not dating anybody in her personal life.
Neha Kakkar is singing from the young age of 4. She has started singing Mata Ki Bhete in Jagrans. That time, she don’t even realise that she will be a biggest sensation in music industry someday. She wishes to sing a solo song with A.R Rahman one day and also wishes to work with Vishal Bhardwaj. She has dream to sing a song in the movie of his favourite Star Shahrukh Khan.
